Welcome to the Tampa Bay Heralds of Harmony (Barbershop Singing) Meetup Group! We are a passionate community of adult male singers who gather to appreciate, perform, and enjoy the beauty of barbershop singing. Unaccompanied by instruments, Barbershop music is a unique American art form with four-part close harmony which produces "ringing" chords. In 2023 the Heralds won our first-ever international chorus medal, finishing 3rd in the world, with our highest score ever. Our director, Tony De Rosa, has a pedigree in the barbershop community that borders on celebrity status, and also, "serves as the Musical Director for the Voices of Liberty at EPCOT, the 'Dapper Dans' of Disneyworld at the Magic Kingdom, and as Vocal Director for 'Finding Nemo the Musical' at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, along with vocal coaching for special events at Walt Disney World" (all from his Heralds of Harmony website bio, where you can read more about this special guy, who also happens to just be a lot of fun to sing with!).
