Disrupt the Bay is a Heath/Tech Conference with a cause to be held at the University of South Florida on November 7th. All proceeds will go to kids cancer research. We have a great keynote speaker, panelists from executive positions within the healthcare industry and some very worthy health/tech related start-ups who will be pitching their concepts. It will be a great opportunity to network, learn and create synergy with leaders who are improving the quality of healthcare, reducing suffering and saving lives. We will cover topics in digital transformation in healthcare including blockchain, AI, machine learning, robotics, and 3D Printing. will be covered. Our keynote speaker will be Jay Samit, serial disrupter, entrepreneur and author of Disrupt You! Dr. Richard Munassi from the Tampa Bay Wave will coordinate the start-up presentations. Dean Moez Limayem will also be on hand to welcome us and share his thoughts. Special thanks to him and the USF Muma College of Business for their generous support.

Jay Samit is a dynamic entrepreneur and intrapreneur who is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading experts on disruption and innovation. He is known for his active involvement with the earlier stages of YouTube, LinkedIn and about a dozen other startups. He is currently a professor at University of Southern California teaching on how to build a disruptive startup.
