Tampa Bay Python’s first hackathon!

Details
About the presentation
Are you interested in solving a puzzle with tools used everyday by software engineers in the field? What about working in small groups of your peers to collaborate and learn how to define and tackle software problems?
If any of the above sounds interesting to you, then we’d love for you to join us in-person (and remotely) for Tampa Bay Python’s first ever hackathon!
Using Python, members will:
- parse multiple images for the data that is encoded within them (steganography)
- build in-memory file objects based off the bytes of data stitched together from the images
- extract the final artifact from within the data to reveal the end-game reward!
Attendees are expected to bring a personal computer running a modern web browser to engage in the activity in small groups using Jupyter Notebooks.
We’ll have senior members standing by ready to hop in (both in-person and remotely) to help groups work through project.
Please be courteous and make sure to RSVP as we will have limited food and seating.
