pygame Workshop

Details
Update: The presentation files and code is now available on github. Here's the link. (https://github.com/TBPy/201708_presentation) Thanks much to Frankie for making this available in advance of the meeting so attendees can get a jump start on the topic!
Also, this month's refreshments will be provided by Hivelocity (https://www.hivelocity.net/), a new sponsor.
Have you ever wanted to create a computer game or other multi-media application or wondered about how they work?
Maybe even a mosquito education game for the upcoming Code for Tampa Bay Hack Zika challenge?!?
This month, Francis will lead a workshop on pygame. Here's the wiki about-page for pygame. (https://www.pygame.org/wiki/about) He will provide stock images to use, but you can bring your own if you wish. He'll be doing the demonstration with a window size of 1000x600 pixels so make sure any images will fit in the window.
