Milonga Bomboncito back at Paramount Ballroom Oct. 19th

𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗕𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗼 is back at Paramount Ballroom this Sunday, October 19th (3rd Sunday), Come party with us at 4 p.m. Milonga class at 3pm.
As in the previous couple of months, we will have a special musical feature. This month, we will present the 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝟐𝟎 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐉𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐔𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐲. The DJ website El Recodo Tango asks its members to rate tracks for dancing (as opposed to just listening). This month, I'll play each of the top 20 best-rated tracks leading an appropriate tanda (same orchestra). You'll know it is one of the top 20 tracks because it will be immediately preceded by an Elton John cortina. You can't miss them.
We'll have a special pre-milonga class at 3pm covering "Having fun with milonga." With the milonga's relentless rhythmic intensity, it can be intimidating to some dancers, but using small variations of simple steps can produce a joyful play between leaders and followers. We'll explore that this Sunday.
