As a leader in the data science community, Norma holds multiple speaking engagements internationally to disseminate best practices in both digitization and deployment of artificial intelligence.
Besides her contributions to AAI, Norma is an active member of the Columbus community in Indiana. She currently serves as Board Member in the non-profit “Just Friends”, an adult day care that supports underserved elders in the area. Norma and her husband Ron enjoy a quiet life in Columbus, Indiana, in a house on a lake nearby downtown. They both are music amateurs and spend their spare time playing music. Although they don’t have pets, they enjoy the company of a variety of wild animals living in the lake, such as rabbits, squirrels, raccoons, and the occasional possum.
