I SEE THE LIGHT... Introduction to cinematic lighting.

Our second meeting will be held at the Jan Kammis Platt Regional Library in Tampa, Hillsborough County. Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 a.m.

The theme will be lighting. Part of the Holy Trinity of good filmmaking, besides audio and a good script/acting. There are many other facets of filmmaking, but these can make or break your project right from the start. I will be demonstrating some of the current lighting technology, discussing basic lighting, and what is considered most "cinematic." Also positive and negative fill. If there’s time, you can try out some of the gear and, of course, we'll answer questions.
