42-Mile Coffee Ride to Havanna Dreamers – 7:15 AM Start

Start Location: SR 54 & Suncoast Trail parking lot
Distance: 42 miles round trip, route varies slightly from week to week.
Pace: Social – Max speed 21 MPH, No sprints or attacks. Pull as long as you like—or sit in and enjoy the ride. The exception, the final stretch from the entrance of Starkey Park to 54 on the way back you can go as fasat as you like.

All riders are expected to ride in a pace line safely. New riders are expected to hang in the rear of the group to get acclimated. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time so the group can discuss the plans, introduce new riders and leave on time.

Elite is doing Central Florida's premier cycling event, put on by the Florida Freewheelers. We will have groups riding the 70 and 100 mile routes. The Century has approximately 5,000 ft of climbing, so please train for riding hills. We will offer training rides for the hills!

The ride starts at the Clermont Waterfront park on Lake Minneola. Show up early to get a good parking spot and pick up your packet. It will take about 1 hour 40 minutes from Tampa so leave early or get a hotel room in Clermont the night before. There is no mass start, but I think the course opens at 7:30am so lets be ready to go then.

• No headphones allowed.
• Please be courteous to drivers and do not block the roadways.
• Stop at all stop signs and obey traffic signals.
