Details

This route provided by Glen Ross combines the Suncoast Trail and some of our favorite roads in Pasco and Hernando Counties. Basically we head north on the Suncoast to Centralia Rd, Citrus Way, Lake Lindsey Rd then South around Brooksville and ending up on Hayman to Ayers and back to the trail. Your mileage depends on where you start the ride, we have three options.

Mileage and start times:

  1. 95 mile riders start at 54 at 6:30am, head north on the Suncoast.
  2. 75 Mile riders meet the group at 52 & Suncoast (park at the Race Trac) around 7:00am.
  3. 55 mile riders meet the group at Anderson Snow, ride out to the trail around 7:35am.

You will need lights if you are starting at 54 or 52. We will pace ourselves at 20 to 22 mph on flats (wind permitting). We will regroup after each of the climbs. Please be aware that this is not a no drop ride. If you are uncertain if you can hang, take short pulls or skip a pull(s). We would rather have you hang on to the group than drop.

All riders are expected to ride in a pace line safely. New riders are expected to hang in the rear of the group to get acclimated. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time so the group can discuss the plans, introduce new riders and leave on time. Everyone rides at their own risk and this group assumes no responsibility for any injuries. Team Elite is not responsible for any injuries that may occur during any event we host. Paceline experience is expected if you want to attend this group ride.
