San Ann 56
Details
The ride starts from the San Antonio Ballfields at 7:15.
Time to start riding hills in preparation for the Costa Rica trip. Thank Jedi Master, Glenrick for contributing this route! This ride is a combination of hills and flats. We will cover 56 miles with 2,200 ft of climbing. There is a long section on the Withlacoochee Trail and Good Neighbor Trail (flat and shady). There will be two stops, at least one at a convenience store. You can make the ride shorter, but not less hilly.
We will pace ourselves at 20 to 22 mph on flats (wind permitting). After the hilly sections we will regroup. Please be aware that this is not a no drop ride. If you are uncertain if you can hang, take short pulls or skip a pull(s). We would rather have you hang on to the group than drop. We will stop for mechanicals.

All riders are expected to ride in a pace line safely. New riders are expected to hang in the rear of the group to get acclimated. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time so the group can discuss the plans, introduce new riders and leave on time. Everyone rides at their own risk and this group assumes no responsibility for any injuries. Team Elite is not responsible for any injuries that may occur during any event we host. Paceline experience is expected if you want to attend this group ride.
