Updated Coffee Ride to Havana Dreamers

What's New with the Coffee Ride?
Two distance options will be offered every Sunday:

1. 42-mile option – starts at 7:00 AM
2. 31-mile option – starts at 7:30 AM

Both rides begin at the SR 54 & Suncoast Trail parking lot. The groups will meet at Havana Dreamers around the same time to socialize and enjoy the café’s offerings.

What Remains the Same?
This ride is all about socializing and catching up with friends. It's a low-key ride with a maximum speed of 20 MPH. Sprinting or attacking the group is not encouraged (though it's fine at the end of the ride). You can choose to do a consistent pull for as long as you want—or if you prefer not to pull, that’s fine too. If you’re feeling well-rested (say, no ride on Saturday), this may not be the challenge you’re looking for!

Ride Options:

• Option 1: 7:00 AM – From the SR 54 (Suncoast) Parking Lot, we’ll head towards SR 52, make a U-turn, and ride through Starkey Park. After that, we’ll continue south on Starkey Blvd to Havana Dreamers coffee shop.
• Option 2: 7:30 AM – From the SR 54 (Suncoast) Parking Lot, we’ll head north to Starkey Park, ride through the park, and then take Starkey Blvd south to Havana Dreamers coffee shop.

After the coffee break, we'll regroup and head back as one group: traveling up Starkey Blvd, through Starkey Park, and then onto the Suncoast Trail. Typically, we increase the pace once we exit Starkey Park, but the final 4.5-mile stretch is optional if you want to push the pace.
Ride Etiquette and Expectations:

• All riders are expected to ride safely in a pace line.
• New riders should position themselves at the back of the group to get acclimated.
• Arrive 15 minutes early to discuss the route, introduce new riders, and ensure we leave on time.
• Everyone rides at their own risk. Team Elite assumes no responsibility for any injuries during the ride. Paceline experience is required to join this group ride.
