Fiber field trip! Yarn Retreat in Leesburg

Join us on a field trip from Tampa to Leesburg for a fun filled day of friendship and yarn. Check out the flyer in the event photos for full event info. Let’s meet and carpool to the event. It’s about a 1.5+ hour drive north, so let’s plan to meet up at 7 am. The retreat is from 9 am to 5 pm, so we should be home by 7 pm :D

The Leesburg September Yarn Retreat is a gathering for knitters, crocheters, tatters, and everyone who loves playing with yarn 🧶 In keeping with the retreat series here in historic downtown Leesburg, Florida, we’ll have experts on hand for demonstrations and advice, door prizes, a catered lunch, and all sorts of yarny fun! The September Yarn Retreat offers a relaxing getaway featuring creative inspiration in scenic surroundings, perfect for crafting enthusiasts. Immerse yourself in an inspiring environment designed to fuel your creativity and passion for yarn arts. We'll have yarn trunk shows, door prizes, and a catered luncheon. Skilled knitters, crocheters, and tatters will be available for demonstrations and expert advice. The retreat will be held at the Family Life Center of Morrison United Methodist Church, right across the street from my shop. There is ample parking all around the church with lot adjacent to the shop for your convenience. Bring your favorite yarn projects to work on and a finished piece for Show and Tell if you like. Come join us!

This retreat cost $49 and includes a catered lunch.
