Join us for a hands-on coding session with Sam Kasimalla as he guides us through building a DevOps pipeline using AWS and Terraform. We'll be using the Spring pet-clinic project as the source code and build a Jenkins pipeline with the following steps:
- Compile the code
- Run the tests
- Package the project as a runnable Docker image
Prerequisites:
- Install AWS CLI
- Install Terraform
Steps:
- Configure AWS CLI profile and credentials
- Apply Terraform to create an EC2 machine
- Set up Jenkins pipeline
- Run Docker runnable image
