https://github.com/skasimalla/devops-workshop-java

Join us for a hands-on coding session with Sam Kasimalla as he guides us through building a DevOps pipeline using AWS and Terraform. We'll be using the Spring pet-clinic project as the source code and build a Jenkins pipeline with the following steps:

  • Compile the code
  • Run the tests
  • Package the project as a runnable Docker image

Prerequisites:

  • Install AWS CLI
  • Install Terraform

Steps:

  • Configure AWS CLI profile and credentials
  • Apply Terraform to create an EC2 machine
  • Set up Jenkins pipeline
  • Run Docker runnable image

Please bring your own laptop and make sure to follow the instructions in the deck (Link to be posted soon) before the session.

Don't miss this opportunity to learn from one of the best in the field and network with other like-minded professionals. Register now to secure your spot!

Looking forward to seeing you there!
Thank you Hays for sponsoring us!

Best regards,
Sam, Ammar and Shaun
