Tampa PMI-PBA Study Group

Since this is the inaugural meeting of the group, I've limited the time frame to 1 hour. Basically, a meet and greet session to get to know other folks and determine which certifications we should focus on. The Teams link in included below for the first session. Also, during this time, we will determine, as a group, how often we need to meet.

• About Me: I have PMI-ACP, PMP, RMP, and test this month for the PBA exam. Once PBA has been completed, I plan to test for SP and other certs outside of PMI. I have certifications in SAFe and Scrum Agile methodologies as well as IT frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, and TOGAF. I am a certified scrum master and certified product owner. I have 3 master's degrees is MBA, MSMIS, and MSIT, and beginning a PhD program Fall 2026. Currently, researching in the field of information systems. My career is 1 year shy of 20 years within the IT industry in senior leadership roles. I have honorably served as a commissioned officer in the US Armed Forces and own my business as a service-connected disabled veteran.
