ReHacked sessions are purely hands-on labs for the ReactJS Tampa Bay Community. Bring your laptop in and get down and dirty with coding in React!

DETAILS

• Session: SPA Basics With React

• Led By: John Hampton and Eric Nograles

• Level: Beginner to Intermediate

• Description: Want to get started with writing React SPA apps but don't know where to begin? This session will cover how to get up and going quickly with React. We will cover the basics of a build system using Webpack and Babel, React component basics, a quick tour of react-router, and how to communicate with a backend Web API.

LOGISTICS

We will be meeting at the Auditorium @ John F. Germany Library. If you enter the library from the Ashley Dr. entrance, walk straight past Information. The Auditorium is behind it.

Note that parking in downtown Tampa can be a little spotty. Street parking is generally available and there is also the parking garage across from the library that you can use at cost.

PREREQUISITES

If everybody could complete the "PreHacked" steps ( https://github.com/reactjstampabay/rehacked-spa-basics#prehacked ) before attending, that would be fantastic!
