Selenium: WebDriver Bidi Features and Future

Details
The meetup is being organized in a collaboration with Tampa Java Users Group and food is sponsored by TekSystems.
Free parking for ECC is north of the building across the street in the lot.
Our speaker is Jim Evans, Principal Member Of Technical Staff @ Salesforce. Besides utilizing Java in a full-time role, he is one of the core members of Selenium Project, contributing to .NET bindings.
Jim’s work experience includes 12 years at Microsoft and 7 years as a Senior QA Engineer at Numara Software (now part of BMC Software), and he has been at Salesforce since early 2012.
One of the most interesting and awaited features included in Selenium 4 is the bidirectional APIs. They allow us to do things like: intercept network requests, mock backends, perform basic authentication and view the console logs. Jim will deep dive into WebDriver Bidi and talk about its future for software testing. As a part of the talk, Jim will demo how to use Java and Selenium 4 for your test automation needs.
