What we’re about
The Tampa Tech Coast - Cloud Cybersec Community provides basic to intermediate webinars and in-person meetups to discuss the advantages and management of cloud security. In its robust sense, cybersecurity includes:
- Confidentiality,
- Data and system integrity,
- Systems availability, resilience and continuity,
- Including the physical security of
- Facilities that host cloud infrastructure,
- On premise and remote
- Facilities,
- Networks
and - other infrastructure
that enable cloud access.
The target audience includes:
- Middle school and high school students.
- College students.
- Any adult who is interested in cloud technology and security.
- Experienced cloud practitioners - everyone can learn new things about the cloud and this will ensure robust discussions, mentoring and professional networking.
Tampa is rechartering its chapter of the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA - https://cloudsecurityalliance.org/). Participants will be about this and other resources that can help them advance their cloud cybersec knowledge and to meet people with common interests.
This meetup group plans to rotate meetings throughout the Tampa Tech Coast - Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas and Manatee Counties, as well as virtually - to ensure that the entire Bay Area may have an opportunity to attend.
TTC-CCC sponsored and hosted by Lawrence-Martin Capuder, CCSK, CISA, CIA, who has over thirty years of global cybersecurity, IT audit, consulting, project management and Federal banking regulatory experience.
He has been a chapter officer, director or committee member of the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), InfraGard, ISACA, the Institute of Internal Auditors, the Association of Local Government Auditors, The Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
He has spoken at national and overseas conferences, webinars and professional meetings of most of these and others.
