Skyway Fishing Pier State Park is a Florida State Park located on the north and south sides of the mouth of Tampa Bay. When the original cantilevered Sunshine Skyway Bridge, carrying I-275, partially collapsed in 1980, due to the collision of a freighter on one of its pilings, it was replaced by the current bridges Petersburg with Sarasota, the old bridge was turned into the world's longest fishing pier. To get there, just stay on the highway over the skyway bridge. There will be signs for the fishing pier and you just follow the signs and those will take you to the ticket booth at the entrance. You will pay four dollars per vehicle and four dollars per person fishing, The pass you get is good for 24 hours, so you can leave and come back . There is a north side and a south side we will be on the Southside more room and better fishing. They have bathrooms, and a bait shop .

You do not need a fishing license to fish from the old Skyway Bridge fishing pier. But if you bring alcohol be discreet drink it in a cup not a can or bottle.
