Sand Ip is a backend and data Engineer at Numerator, a company that builds market intelligence and data narrated insights into consumer behavior. She enjoys tackling system design problems and is an aspiring software architect. Sand is a part time organizer for PyLadies Chicago and helps run the algorithm meet ups for the Chicago Python User Group.
Apache Airflow is an open-source workflow management platform. It started at Airbnb in October 2014 as a solution to manage the company's increasingly complex workflows. Many contributions have been made over time to scale this solution for different environments and resources available. This talk will take a look at what makes Airflow adaptable as a system.
