Have you noticed that no matter how much you try to calm down, the same patterns keep arriving?

The nervous system has three default responses to stress: fight, flight, and freeze. This Saturday, you will learn real techniques to settle the body, and the practice that comes after.

What you will leave with
Somatic techniques to bring the body out of fight, flight, and freeze, drawn from decades of clinical and integrative healing practice. Tools you can use immediately.
A morning meditation practice that quiets the loops underneath the body’s reactivity, refined by the Brahma Kumaris tradition for ninety years.
Written intentions for the situations that pull you out of yourself, designed to fire automatically when those situations arrive.

Your facilitators
Deborah Burnham, PT is a Kaua’i-based physical therapist and integrative healer with decades of experience at the intersection of trauma and the nervous system. She will be guiding the somatic and nervous system work.
Sister Shireen has been teaching Raja Yoga meditation in the Brahma Kumaris tradition for 32 years and serves the Tampa Bay community through retreats and classes. She will be guiding the meditation and the deeper teaching.

The Brahma Kumaris difference
There is no charge, no membership, no upsell, no follow-on package. The Brahma Kumaris has been offering this work freely for ninety years. Lunch is included.
