Flatwoods Paved Bicycle Trail (Morris bridge entrance)

Flatwoods is a beautiful wooded preserve in New Tampa.
This route is a 7mile paved loop plus 4 miles to Bruce B downs and back that provides a wooded experience with abundant wildlife such as armadillo, turtles, hawks, and deer.
A half mile paved service road takes you into the seven mile paved loop. Both are closed to any vehicle traffic. 12 miles total.
On the 7-Mile loop there are 4-rest stations and each one has large coolers filled with ice water. Restrooms are at the ranger stations.
PARKING
• just east of the ranger station and at the ranger station
• The fee for parking in the park is $2.00 and you must have the exact change or credit card. The payment kiosk is at the ranger station parking lot.
BE PREPARED
• Please make sure your bicycle is ready to ride before arriving, check tire air pressure.
• We do very mellow 8mph ride and chat.
