Hi everyone! I wanted to let you know about a change to our plans for this Saturday.
I spoke with park management at Fish Hawk Creek Preserve North Loop, and they confirmed that the park will be extremely busy in the morning with long wait times at the entrance since it’s connected to Lithia Springs. To avoid delays and keep things enjoyable, we’re moving our hike to a different (and beautiful!) location.

Also, we have encountered mosquitos, ticks, and muddy or watery trails at our last few hikes. I would anticipate more of the same tomorrow.

Join us for a Saturday morning hike through the scenic Fish Hawk Creek Preserve – North Loop. This shady 3.1-mile trail winds through oak hammocks, pine flatwoods, and over wooden footbridges. Expect a relaxed pace, fresh air, and beautiful natural surroundings.
Important Parking Info:
Parking for the North Loop is located within Lithia Springs Conservation Park. To access it, enter through 3931 Lithia Springs Road, pay the $2 per vehicle entrance fee, and follow signs to the preserve parking area.
Please arrive by 8:45 AM so we can begin the hike promptly at 9:00 AM. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray.
Some hikes will focus on photography; this one will have light photo stops but will keep a steady pace overall.
