Take a break from the hustle and join us for a peaceful After Work Walkabout at Violet Cury Nature Preserve on Thursday, October 2nd. This 1.6-mile shady loop features forested paths, boardwalks, and natural scenery that feels miles away from the city—yet it's right in Tampa!
We’ll meet in the main parking area at 6:00 PM and head out shortly after. The full loop usually takes 45–50 minutes, perfect timing to wrap up before sunset (~7:14 PM).
☀️ Trail Note:
If there’s been recent heavy rain, sections of the trail can be wet or muddy, especially near low-lying areas. Wear shoes that can handle a little water just in case!
🧢 Bring water, bug spray, and comfortable walking shoes. This is an easy-going, steady-paced walk and a great chance to enjoy one of Tampa’s quieter green spaces.
PARKING NOTE: If you can, backing in makes leaving much easier since the parking area is the fenceline.
