We’re heading out to explore the Boggy Creek Trail & Balm-Boyette Scrub for a morning hike through one of Hillsborough County’s beautiful scrub preserves.
This is an easy, mostly flat loop with a mix of open scrub, pine flatwoods, and some shaded sections—great for spotting wildlife and enjoying a quieter side of the area. The trail is about 4.8 miles and typically takes around 1.5–2 hours at a comfortable pace.
