Golden Aster Preserve Yellow Trail
Saturday, September 5, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM
THIS PARK HAS 4 PAVED PARKING SPACES BUT IS ON A DEAD END ROAD WITH PLENTY OF GRASS PARKING.
Join us for a morning hike on the Yellow Trail at Golden Aster Scrub Nature Preserve. We will hike approximately 5 miles through Florida scrub, pine flatwoods, wetlands, and other natural habitats.
Much of this trail is sandy and exposed to the sun, so please bring plenty of water, sun protection, and bug spray. September is part of Florida’s rainy season, and portions of the trail may have standing water or mud. Wear appropriate shoes and be prepared for changing trail conditions.
The preserve is home to wildlife and rare native plants, including the Florida golden aster. Please remain on the marked trail and leave plants and wildlife undisturbed.
