Join us for a relaxed Saturday morning at Honeymoon Island State Park!
We'll explore the Osprey and Pelican trails, winding through coastal pine forests with opportunities to spot ospreys, shorebirds and other native wildlife. This will be an easy-paced hike, although some sections have loose sand that can make walking a little more challenging.
Trail conditions: Portions of the trail may be closed, and conditions will depend on rainfall leading up to our hike. We'll respect all posted closures and adjust our route and mileage as necessary.

## Optional Beach Time After the Hike

After we finish the wooded trails, I plan to drive over to the beach and spend a little time relaxing and enjoying the water. Anyone who wants to join me is more than welcome!
This is completely optional. Feel free to head home after the hike or stick around for some extra beach time. If you're joining us, bring your swimsuit, towel, beach chair or whatever makes for a perfect beach morning!

• Comfortable hiking shoes suitable for sandy trails
• Sunscreen, a hat and insect repellent
• A camera or binoculars for wildlife viewing
• Optional: Swimsuit, towel and beach essentials

Honeymoon Island State Park 1 Causeway Boulevard, Dunedin, FL 34698
We'll meet at the Osprey Trailhead parking area. The park opens at 8 AM, so please be ready to step off at 8:15 AM.
