Kayaking Meetup at The Getaway

This is NOT a professional kayak tour group or kayak instruction group, it is just a group of friends sharing a hobby and other shared interests.

First Timers, Beginners to Advanced paddlers, and Recreational to Sea Rated Kayaks are all welcome.

There is plenty of parking at this venue. If you don't own a kayak you can rent one on the spot at Urban Kai. We'll launch from the beach in the back around 10 AM. We'll be out on the water for about 2 hours.

Since there are limited spots available please cancel ASAP if you can't make it.

Please arrive 15 minutes early and introduce yourself :)

A couple of rules:

• PFD/ Life Jackets and a Whistle are MANDATORY.
• Staying with the group during the trip is MANDATORY.
• If someone goes overboard, you have to alert the others (whistle) and stop to HELP.
