Kayaking Meetup at Upper Tampa Bay Park

This is NOT a professional kayak tour group or kayak instruction group, it is just a group of friends sharing a hobby and other shared interests.

First Timers, Beginners to Advanced paddlers, and Recreational to Sea Rated Kayaks are all welcome.

Location is the Upper Tampa Bay Park. Entrance Fee to the park is $2 per vehicle. There is plenty of parking at this venue. If you don't own a kayak you can rent one on the spot at the local center.

We'll launch at around 10:00 AM.

Since there are limited spots available please cancel ASAP if you can't make it.

Please arrive 15 minutes early and introduce yourself :)

This is the main communication channel, so please check in on the day of the meetup to see if anything has changed or if the meetup is cancelled (for example due to weather).

A couple of rules:

• PFD/ Life Jackets and a Whistle are MANDATORY.
• Staying with the group during the trip is MANDATORY.
• If someone goes overboard, you have to alert the others (whistle) and stop to HELP.
