Due to Meetup's recent exorbitant increase in fees, from around the end of October 2025 it is 99.9% certain this group will no longer have a presence on Meetup. The group itself will continue to hold weekly games sessions, but will have migrated to an application called Aftergame, which is accessible on smartphones and laptops/desktops. This weekly meetup is for anyone who wants to play games.
We play board games, card games, tile games, and dice games - in fact we play pretty much anything !!

The games are strategic but fun, a few recent examples being Viticulture, Shadows Over Camelot, Bomb Busters, No Thanks, Avalon, D6 Dungeon, and Codenames.

New players are always welcome, and if you cannot make the start time just roll up when you can as we play several games each evening - it's great fun learning a new game :-)

Nearest parking based on venue :-

For sessions in Tamworth at the Games Club in King Street, the nearest car parks are Holloway at B79 7NB or Aldergate at B79 7DD (both free after 6pm) - King Street is the alley next to the old Wilkos that connects Market Street & Church Street - first attendance is free thereafter there's a £2 per person per session charge that goes towards the building lease cost.

For sessions in Lichfield at the Brewhouse & Kitchen the nearest car parks are the Friary Inner on the Friary at WS13 6QH or Sandford Street at WS13 6QA, but both are only small (45 spaces). Alternatives, both on the Friary, are Friary multi-story at WS13 6QE or University West WS13 6QG. All four car parks cost £1.50 after 6pm.
