🍲 Curry, Chai & Community: An Indian Homestyle Cooking Workshop
Step into the heart of an Indian home kitchen with this hands-on cooking experience in Berlin. Together we’ll prepare a comforting feast of Butter Chicken (with Shahi Paneer as a vegetarian option), flaky Lacha Parantha, refreshing Onion & Cucumber Salad, and cooling Boondi Raita. For those who want the full experience, we’ll also brew a pot of authentic Indian Chai (optional).
This is not a restaurant-style demonstration — it’s a tandem workshop, where everyone takes part in chopping, kneading, grinding, cooking, and plating. You’ll learn the authentic sequence of spices and techniques that give Indian food its soul, while also experiencing the communal joy of cooking and eating together.
Workshop Flow
11:00–11:30 AM: Welcome & briefing
11:30 onward: Prep together - chopping, grinding, kneading
Cooking session: main dish, parantha, raita
14:00 onward: Plating & serving: garnish, share, and eat as a group
You’ll leave not only with a full stomach but also with printed recipes, cooking tips, and the confidence to recreate these dishes at home.
