Rui Barroso Tango Weekend - Johannesburg

Join us for a special tango weekend in Johannesburg featuring internationally respected tango dancer and teacher Rui Barroso and 2017 tango world champion Magdalena Gutierrez. The weekend caters to both complete beginners to this wonderful dance form as well as experienced tango dancers. No partner necessary.

Over three days, we will explore how dancers connect with themselves, their partners, and the music, expanding the understanding of both roles in tango. The weekend includes a series of workshops, a musicality talk, and evening milongas.

We are also delighted to welcome our guest DJ Johan Steyn from Cape Town on Saturday 9 May.
