Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 28, 2025! Join us at Tango Kantina Bar in Düsseldorf for the 828 Tango Party, our annual pre-Poreč bash before the Mediterranean Summer Tango Festival in Croatia. We have a thrilling all-night program planned – this time with two dynamic DJs who are ready to rock the dance floor from dusk till dawn!

The night kicks off at 8:00 PM with engaging workshops and continues into an unforgettable milonga party that lasts until 8:00 AM. Here’s what to expect from this full-package tango extravaganza:
Workshop Kick-Off (8:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
Start your evening by improving your tango skills! For the first two hours, we’re offering two parallel workshops to cater to all levels:
Complete Beginners Workshop: New to tango? Learn the fundamentals in a friendly, fun session – no prior experience required.

Intermediate/Experienced Workshop: Already have some tango experience? Join this workshop to refine your technique and learn new combinations.
(Both workshops run simultaneously from 8–10 PM, so everyone gets a chance to learn at the right level.)
All-Night Milonga Party (10:00 PM – 8:00 AM)

When 10:00 PM arrives, the party truly begins! From 10 PM onwards, enjoy a marathon milonga filled with music, dancing, and delights until the early morning. Highlights include:
Two Rooms, Two Music Styles: Dance in our dedicated Tango Room with traditional tango music, or mix it up in the Alternative Room with non-tango beats. Pick your vibe or hop between rooms all night!

Two DJs in Action: We have not one but two fantastic DJs (★ DJ Efe Can Akgül and ★ DJ Nathan Leptin) spinning tunes. They’ll keep both dance floors energized and ready to rock all night long.

Open Bar & Open Buffet: All-night open bar (yes, drinks are included!) and a generous buffet of snacks and refreshments to keep you fueled. Enjoy unlimited beverages and food on the house – everything is included with your entry (donation-based), so help yourself whenever you need a break.

Surprise Performance & Shows: Don’t miss our special tango performance during the night! Talented dancers will put on a show to inspire and entertain – a highlight of the event you won’t want to miss.
3:00 AM Pizza Party: Feeling peckish in the middle of the night? We’ve got you covered with a pizza break at 3:00 AM. Grab a slice (or three) of delicious pizza to recharge those dancing feet!

5:00 AM Breakfast: Made it to the early morning? Reward yourself with a fresh breakfast at 5:00 AM. Coffee, pastries, and more will be served to rejuvenate all the dawn dancers before the last tandas.
Sleeping Area Available: Partying till sunrise? We’ve arranged sleeping opportunities on-site. A quiet space will be available if you need to catch a quick nap or rest before driving home. (Bring a sleeping bag or comfy blanket if you plan to stay over.)
Donation-Based Entry: This entire event operates on a donation basis – there’s no fixed entry fee. All the workshops, dancing, open bar, food, and extras are included; you contribute what you can or feel is fair. We want everyone to join the fun, so no one is turned away for lack of funds.
