Vegan Taos Hike - Dog Friendly - Make Friends - Outdoors - Get off the Couch! :)

EVENT:
Hike- Sun Nov 7th, 10am-2pm to "Rito de la Olla trailhead"

DIRECTIONS:
From the junction with NM 68 in Taos, head east on NM 518 for seven miles, Forest Road 438 is on the north side of the highway. We will meet at 10AM right at hwy 518 & the entry to forest road #438 (Driving from Taos it will be on tour LEFT) We will be driving a white f-150 with NM "BEVEGAN" license plate :)

TRAIL:
The "Rito De La Olla trail" is 4.6 miles long.
It is an easy hike, beautiful yellow/golden aspen tree forest all around!
Fur babies are welcome ONLY if they are FRIENDLY!
** (snacks for your dogs need to be Vegan/healthy as well)**
IDEAS: carrots, cucumber slices, peanut butter) **

BRING:
Water, VEGAN healthy snacks and hiking poles (if needed)
There is a creek that we cross (we usually don't mind getting our shoes wet above the ankles, but feel free to bring extra socks and shoes if you like).
Bear spray is good if you have one please bring it- accessible on you.

There is no bathrooms/trash facilities. Pack it in, Pack it out!
