Taoyuan Daxi Old Street Walk and Socialize

Join Taoyuan LocaVibe and Socialize for a leisurely walking adventure in Daxi, Taoyuan! This event is perfect for free thinkers looking to de-stress and socialize in the great outdoors. We will be exploring Daxi Old Street, enjoying fun times with familiar or new faces, and taking in the sights and sounds of Daxi . Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or just looking for a relaxing stroll, this event offers the perfect opportunity to connect with Taiwanese local culture, create new network, and unwind from the daily routines.

Daxi Old Street includes Zhongyang Road 中央路, Zhongshan Road 中山路, Heping Road 和平路 - approximately 1.5km in total. We will start with Zhongshan Road through street food, local vendors, Zhongyang Road then Heping Road. We will take Daxi Bridge to cross the river then back to Daxi Old Street.

What you'll need: proper footwear, water, hat, bug spray - there will be lots of street food (not included)
Where to meet: outside the entrance of Daxi Primary School Sports Center/Complex 大溪國小運動中心 13:00. We will leave at 13:10 sharp.
Parking Option: Daxi Primary School Sports Center underground
Transit Option 1: Take bus 5096 Via Gengliaojiao from Taoyuan Train Station to Xinjiewei (58 minutes)
Transit Option 2: Take bus 5098 Via Guanluque from Zhongli Train Rear Station to Xinjiewei (49 minutes)
Transit Option 3: Take bus 5101 from Yingge Train Station to Xinjiewei (46 minutes)
