Our table will have a big turquoise book on it.

At our last session, we shared what interests us about cemeteries (beautiful locations, history, ancestry, honoring the dead, etc) and spitballed some ideas re: planning excursions.

We talked about starting with little-known but already discovered cemeteries close-in as an intro to cemetery hunting.

We talked about staying in Bend (free lodging) to visit one little-known but very unique cemetery, a lone grave in the middle of nowhere on the Oregon Trail, and an old stagecoach trail. We could also hunt for abandoned cemeteries in the area.

We discussed the possibility of renting an Air BnB on the coast, visiting a tiny, remote cemetery in the woods and hunting for others.

At this session, we'll welcome new members, discuss the best day and time to have our meetings, and go over several route options for our first local trip. We hope to hit 2-3 cemeteries per excursion.
