Parent Effectiveness Training (P.E.T.)

Hello, I'm Catherine Dickerson, a Registered Play Therapist and certified P.E.T. instructor. I'll be working in Michelle's office suite starting next month, and she has generously offered to let me post an announcement about the upcoming P.E.T. class I'll be teaching starting September 25. P.E.T. is the pioneering program that has helped millions of parents the world over to build stronger, more respectful, loving families.

We meet for 8 consecutive Wednesdays, learning ideas and practicing skills that, in one mom's words, are "Amazing and life changing to see how my perspective is shifting, relationships are improving, with my new skills. I've noticed quite a few changes in my daughter and husband which have amazed me!"

You'll learn how to help your children develop initiative and independence, cooperation and respect, and out-of-the-box problem-solving skills. Another mom wrote, "You opened my eyes to a whole new world of loving and affectionate interactions in our family when conflicts arise, vs. yelling and stress where everyone feels bad afterward."
