Taproom Theology is a relaxed gathering of curious minds and open hearts where we explore questions about faith, culture, and everyday life over a shared table. No sermons, no pressure – just thoughtful dialogue and a spirit of hope in a welcoming atmosphere.
Whether you’re simply curious, loosely connected, deeply rooted in faith, or healing from past experiences, Taproom Theology offers a spiritually safe space to ask your questions – big or small – and wrestle over timeless truths with kindred spirits.
Each event features:
• A brief talk from a subject matter expert such as a historian, pastor, or theologian to stimulate discussion
• Open, respectful Q&A session over food and drink
• Community without dogma – just thoughtful discourse and shared presence
Come curious, leave connected, and together we’ll reclaim the tradition of a shared story, spirited inquiry, and radical hospitality.

Taproom Theology is an initiative sponsored by Restoration Reston United Methodist Church and hosted at the Lake Anne Brew House.
The Lake Anne Brew House offers craft beers, kombucha, iced coffee, Italian sodas, mocktails, flatbread pizzas, gourmet pretzels and pretzel dogs.
