Kevin Casey from Body, Mind & Soul will be back this month to talk to us about major Astrological changes that are coming and how we can use Tarot to predict thow these planetary changes might manifest in our world!

We will meet in the private room at Jax Grill at I-10 & Shepherd. Come between 6-7p.m. if you want to grab a bite to eat and chit chat with others before the Meeting Starts.

The Meeting will start at 7p.m. with introductions, door prizes, Tarot related announcements and show-n-tell. If you have Tarot related items to share with the group, please bring them!

Bring your favorite Tarot deck, a notebook and a friend. Meeting is $10 (cash) per person.

# Meet Kevin Casey

I was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee.  My first introduction to astrology came in 5th grade when I received a brightly colored bag filled with candy to sell for a fundraiser; the bag had the zodiac signs on them (it was the 70s).  Taken by the imagery and the strange names I sat at my grandma’s kitchen table and tried to draw the twelve zodiac signs.  Living in the Bible Belt this was of course a big no-no and it would be another 17 years before astrology would re-enter my life.  
In the early 1980s we moved to Texas and not long afterward I found myself in the club scene.  Going to the clubs was everything; it was so much fun until it wasn’t anymore. The early 90s came and I was lost with no direction.  People told me I was talented and smart but I had no idea how to apply myself.  In 1991 a friend introduced me to the spiritual text A Course in Miracles and a year later in 1992 I picked up Marianne Williamson’s book A Return to Love: A Reflection on the Principles in A Course in Miracles. I read that book and my life was completely changed, I’ve never been the same since.  This sparked a desire for all things metaphysical and esoteric.  Tarot, astrology, numerology, past lives, angels, creative visualization, I read everything I could get my hands on while Alanis Morissette, Nirvana,  Stone Temple Pilots and Alice in Chains played in the background.  
In 2003 by a chance encounter, I got my first gig doing quick astrology and tarot readings for a piano bar here in Houston.  In 2007 I began reading right here at Body Mind and Soul.  Ever since I was a teenager I have had an undying passion for pop music and I love to look at pop culture through astrological and metaphysical eyes.  I combine 26 years of experience with astrology and a fascination for numerology and tarot as tools for personal and spiritual growth.
