What we’re about
The Tarot Guild of Australia (TGA) represents a community of Tarot professionals, readers, teachers and enthusiasts. The TGA is a membership-based organisation, offfering those with an interest in Tarot the opportunity to become Interest or Professional Members. The Perth group holds monthly meetings which are open to both members and non-members of The Guild.
The primary aim of the TGA is to raise public interest and awareness of the Tarot, to promote the study of the Tarot, to maintain ethical standards in the practice of reading Tarot via professional certification and to provide a network for further education and sharing information amongst members.
The TGA offers Tarot events and workshops in major Australian cities and provides an opportunity to connect and network with like-minded individuals while learning about the Tarot.
Please note that membership of this Meetup group does not constitute membership of the Tarot Guild of Australia. TGA membership information is provided at our meetings or on the TGA website or facebook page.

Stargazing with Barbie
with Barbie Davidson
The Tarot’s Star card has displayed a wide range of images over the years. It has illustrated astrologers following the Star of Bethlehem, Egyptian myths of Sirius rising, the 8th sphere of Ptolemy & stargazers of all kinds. There seems to be no consensus & no story that points us to its original interpretation. Come & explore the journey of the stars from medieval astronomers to the naked maiden & the pool of tears.Biography:
Barbie has a passion for both Astrology & the Tarot. She has been a member of the Federation of Australian Astrologers since 1996 & a member of the Tarot Guild since the early 2000's. Barbara is the longest standing member in Perth & is a regular speaker at Perth meetings. She is a bit of a dark horse when it comes to her accomplishments & is full of surprises. She has a particular interest in Tarot history & currently runs a monthly Tarot class in her backyard.Social Media Links: facebook.com/WAPerthTarotCollective
