What is Tartu GeoCode?
We want to provide a place for showing and learning interesting data processing and coding stuff, for sharing experiences in working in the geo domain. In particular, we want to look into GIS, geospatial data and technologies, location-based services, Earth Observation, smart city and IoT - really linking code and geo. Our meetup is open to practitioners regardless of level, age, gender, or job. All interested humans, story tellers, students, programmers, casual hackers, juniors and seasoned developers are welcome to take part. Researchers, testers, project managers, analysts, or technical and non-technical folks are certainly invited, too.
We will look at a variety of technologies, like geodata management and processing, web mapping, Python, cloud computing, geospatial data analytics, GIS tools, and of course, making maps. Everybody is also encouraged to bring up content they are interested in, too.
