Looks to be a wet Saturday (and a wet week to follow), so let's set out sights on Sunday. Expect a somewhat chilly day even heading out at 11, with a relatively comfortable upper 40's start, and 50 degrees by the finish (peak "heat" of the day).

Now in it's 18th year, the TdCHs is a series of hill intervals around town. As such, it suits a fairly broad range of riders, and we regroup after each segment. And it's fun! (oddly), and an effective training tool to build power and form during the off season. We'll be doing a longer version of the standard TdChs today, heading to Southern Village and The Reserve; expect 25-30 miles with 2500 to 3000 feet of climbing. Set your own pace on a segment, and even opt out occasionally, if you're not having your best day. The standard route will be a regular weekday evening ride throughout the winter, so this is a great opportunity to check it out if it's your first go (because, daylight, and warm-ish).

So come on out--Weaver Street Market (Carrboro), see you there! Tod

Please note: The steep grades of some of the segments make for a challenging ride. It is appropriate for B level riders and above.
