What is a Vintage Rides Ride? Well, it's where we pull out the old bikes and remember (or imagine) what it was like in the old days, when bikes were (mostly) steel, tires were skinny, jerseys were wool, and pedals had toe clips ("toe cages" to you younger folks). Shifters were generally on the down tube, and friction operated- no one had to charge any batteries before the ride. So bring your classics, or ride anything at all, but come along for a relaxed, easy ride. All riders and all bikes are welcome!
Route here:
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/39713600 or something similar.
Route subject to change at the leader's whim (often based on what kind of gearing we're on). Distance approximately 20 miles. We will regroup if necessary, so no one will be left out there.

It is Tarwheels policy for all riders to sign the ride waiver before coming out to the ride.

*** WAIVER *** http://tarwheels.net/ewaiver
MEMBERS need only do this ONCE a YEAR. NON-MEMBERS are required to do this before EACH RIDE, please consider becoming a member.
