Oktoberfest Special Edition. Going to Alamance Village for a pit stop at K & J Grocery. Why Alamance Village? There are some that say Alamance was named by Germans after the Alemanni region of the Rhineland in Germany. We can debate that on the way there.

What isn't debated is that September 19 is the official kickoff of Oktoberfest. A proper "O'zapft is!" will occur ~ noon at Casa LoFrese featuring a properly conditioned Märzen, Bavarian pretzels and beer cheese. Certainly someone else will bring some brats and kraut?!
