Initially planned as an easy ride after Tarwheel Bike Fest...however, current forecast may necessitate some extra Sunday miles!
Decision will be posted Saturday Afternoon after Tarwheel Bikefest...if weather interferes with BikeFest...I will ride the longer route from Gold Park.
FINAL UPDATE
Sunday Scramble™ from Gold Park averaging 18-19 mph. Your choice to drive the pace, punch the hills or lay back and draft -- let's be safe, friendly, call out hazards and show respect to all. We can re-group at major intersections if necessary to keep the group together. We'll stop at Kim's Bake Shop (Mile 56.6) for some caffeine, confections (and maybe pretzels) and conversation. If we ride the longer route from GP, we will also stop at Hurdle Mills Market Mile 37.8.
No ride if raining or severe threat. All usual Tarwheels rules apply regarding waiver and behavior. If you have not recently looked over Tarwheels ride policies, please take a moment to consult:
