Tasmania Road Trip

Tasmania Road Trip (Dec 19‑24)
I’m planning a 6‑day road trip through Tasmania and looking for fellow backpackers to split the cost of a hire car and fuel

Itinerary (rough):

• Dec 19: Devonport → Cradle Mountain — hike to Marion’s Lookout / Dove Lake (cradlemountaintour.com)
• Dec 20: More Cradle Mountain / Dove Lake → drive to Launceston
• Dec 21: Launceston → Bay of Fires (Binalong Bay) → Coles Bay (parks.tas.gov.au)
• Dec 22: Sunrise hike Mt Amos (Freycinet NP) → scenic drive to Hobart (tasmania.com)
• Dec 23: Hike Mt Wellington (public transport / shuttle)
• Dec 24: Explore Hobart city, optional MONA

Accommodation / Camping: I’m looking for cheap tent camping or budget accommodation along the route (Cradle Mountain, Launceston, Coles Bay / Freycinet, Hobart).

Highlights: Mountains, coastal hikes, beaches, national parks, epic views.
