### Taste Society: A BIPOC Dining Club
Welcome to Taste Society, a social dining and cookbook club centering the voices, flavors, and traditions of the BIPOC community.
Each month, we gather around a shared table to celebrate culture, connection, and cuisine. This group is for sharing food and celebrating life as a BIPOC individual in the Portland, Oregon area. Together, we create and enjoy not just meals—but meaningful conversations and community.

Opportunities to meetup that include:
- Small scale coffee or tea meetups
- Exploring restaurants and food cart pods based on member recommendations
- A monthly gathering where we share food with a featured cookbook or culinary theme

Taste Society is open to all who value diversity in food and community, with a focus on uplifting BIPOC voices in the culinary world and creating a space for BIPOC people in Portland to enjoy community centered around food. Whether you’re an experienced cook, an adventurous foodie, or someone who simply loves gathering around the table—you belong here.

- Portland Snack FestNeeds location
Snack Fest celebrates small, independent brands and local entrepreneurs, providing a space where food lovers can explore new flavors, support local businesses and connect with the community.
Snack Fest takes over a warehouse on the Central Eastside. Inside the market you’ll browse the booths of food purveyors and retailers showcasing food and beverage products. Outside in the courtyard, explore tasty food from hot food vendors and food trucks.Along with some of the best food and snacks in the city, enjoy live entertainment and food demos and challenges. You’ll even get the chance to meet the makers of some of your favorite Portland food and products.
The food event is open to all ages and free to enter. Food, snacks and beverages are available for purchase. If you want to skip the line, buy a fast pass for Saturday or Sunday for $10 (plus processing fees).

Stinkfest Details:
Thursday, October 9th, 2025 from 6 to 9pm
at Ecotrust's Irving Street Studio in the Pearl
721 NW 9th Ave. Portland, ORAdmission is $15-$20.
Children 12 and under attend for free.Sample fermented foods and beverages, get tips and recipes from
professional and amateur makers. Categories include:
