We're extremely lucky to live in the Bay, with such diverse options for dining!
How often have you wished that you could have a taste of every single item on a menu? Not all restaurants offer a tasting menu, but with a bigger group going out on food adventures, we could order a broader selection and create our own tasting menu!
How We Taste The Bay
We will order family style.
We'll figure out our tasting menu together as a group, each time!
The whole table splits the bill evenly (minus drinks).
This is democratic dining :)
Who is this group for?
You are chill and easygoing. You are up for variety. You are open to new cuisine, restaurants and food experiences. You can laugh off a not-so-great food order when it happens (because invariably, it will). You show up with a good vibe. You are kind to your fellow diners, and even more so, to the folks who make and serve your food.
When, What and Where?
At least once a month, we’ll explore restaurants at all price ranges, from the affordable, average and more upscale pricing, we'll cycle through these options.
Restaurant recommendations are welcome!
Holes in the wall, Michelin starred, pop-ups, ethnic, vegan, raw, fusion, classics, what's hot and trendy-- our mission is to try them all, and as much of the menu as we can!
And in the process, meet fellow food adventurers from across the Bay :)
Support Small Business
To the extent possible, we'll support family-owned and local businesses to help our local economy.
Additional Costs:
Some restaurants may ask for reservation fees in advance to discourage no-shows. In this case, diners will be responsible for those fees. Mandatory service charges for large groups will be split evenly.
