Intergenerational connection and creativity

For more than four months, Wednesday evenings have been a little special at Tatle Tale.

Every week, we sit beside each other — people of different ages, backgrounds, cultures and experiences — with some paper, pencils, colours and whatever stories we happen to bring with us.

We sketch. We chat. We share. Sometimes we make something we love, sometimes we make something wonderfully imperfect, and sometimes we spend more time talking than drawing. And that’s absolutely fine.

There is no pressure to be an artist, no need to know how to draw, and no expectation to create something “good.” Come as you are, sit with us, and make whatever you feel like making.

Over the past four months, this has quietly become one of our most loved gatherings, and perhaps that’s because it has never really been only about art. It’s about sharing a table, meeting someone you might never otherwise meet, listening to each other, laughing together, and feeling a little more connected.

And yes — your furry friends are welcome too. 🐕🐈🐇❤️

🍁 Fall ...A Season of Letting Go

It reminds us that there is beauty in change. Leaves turn gold, orange and red before quietly letting go of the branches that held them. The air becomes colder, the days a little slower, and somehow the world asks us to notice things we usually walk past.

Next Friday at Tatle Tale, we want to sit with that feeling.

What does fall mean to you? A beginning, an ending, a memory, a colour, a smell, a person—or simply the sound of leaves beneath your feet?

Come with the feeling, or a little story about fall. We’ll talk, listen, and sketch what the season brings to our minds. You don’t need to know how to draw. Your sketch can be messy, unfinished, strange, or simple. 🍂

Because at Tatle Tale, making something beautiful is never really the point. It is about slowing down, noticing, and sharing a little piece of ourselves with one another.

We provide materials and refreshments.
