Data governance – it’s not boring; it’s a ‘cool stuff’ enabler

Conversations about governance often get sidelined in the quest for Power BI to be as usable and useful as quickly as possible. Why would you want to talk about governance when you can talk about all the exciting stuff you can do in Power BI?
Unfortunately, this avoidance comes back to haunt you. And we’ve seen the ramifications of it over and over again - security risks, no backups, lack of version control, limited visibility….

In this meetup, we’ll discuss ways to start implementing governance today (both in Power BI and your wider data environment) and how SaaS products like Power BI Sentinel and Microsoft Purview are an enabler for the cool stuff to happen.
