Our previous screenings featured film about Climate and Social Justice, like "Ruptures" from France about the disconnect between top students potential careers’ paths and their perception of the environmental crisis, "SHIFT" from Belgium about the rise of the gig-economy and the lack of rights and social safety net for those taking such front-line jobs.

Haute Savoie, 1972 : la ferme des Bertrand, exploitation laitière d'une centaine de bêtes tenue par trois frères célibataires, est filmée pour la première fois. En voisin, le réalisateur Gilles Perret leur consacre en 1997 son premier film, alors que les trois agriculteurs sont en train de transmettre la ferme à leur neveu Patrick et sa femme Hélène. Aujourd'hui, 25 ans plus tard, le réalisateur-voisin reprend la caméra pour accompagner Hélène qui, à son tour, va passer la main. A travers la parole et les gestes des personnes qui se sont succédé, le film dévoile des parcours de vie bouleversants où travail et transmission occupent une place centrale : une histoire à la fois intime, sociale et économique de notre monde paysan...

50 Years in the Life of a Farm...
Haute-Savoie, 1972: the Bertrand farm, a dairy operation with around a hundred cattle, run by three bachelor brothers, is filmed for the first time. In 1997, filmmaker Gilles Perret—then a neighbor—dedicates his first documentary to them as they begin passing the farm on to their nephew Patrick and his wife Hélène.
Now, 25 years later, the filmmaker-neighbor picks up the camera again to follow Hélène as she, in turn, prepares to hand over the farm. Through the words and actions of those who’ve lived and worked there, the film reveals powerful life stories where work and generational transmission take center stage—a moving, intimate, social, and economic portrait of our rural world.We look forward to seeing you there!

🎥 Projection : 18h30Toutes les femmes traversent la ménopause, et pourtant, c’est un sujet dont on parle rarement. Aborder la ménopause, les bouleversements et les incertitudes qu’elle entraîne, permet sans conteste de briser le tabou qui entoure le corps des femmes. Ce documentaire pose la question de fond : une femme a-t-elle une date de péremption lorsqu’elle n’est plus fertile ?
À travers le regard de plusieurs femmes, Menopauses aborde cette période charnière avec beaucoup d’humour et de réalisme, en partageant des récits personnels sans pathos sur la manière de vivre — et de se réinventer — pendant cette phase de vie.

Talking about menopause, the changes and uncertainties it brings, undeniably breaks the taboo that surrounds women’s bodies. This documentary goes to the heart of this question: do women have an expiration date once they are no longer fertile?
Through the eyes of several women, Menopauses will approach this transitional period with a great deal of humor and realism, telling openly and without pathos personal stories about how to live and reinvent life during this phase.
